Mommy's War

Good Morning Mommy's... Yes it's early and I am awake.!? Of course I am awake, I'm a Mommy, sleep isn't even in the vocabulary for us anymore. The weekend isn't over yet, but it has been WAR in my household. LOL Yesterday, the kids declared WAR on Mommy! Yelling, screaming, fighting, etc. just being children but multiplied by 4. I had to scream over their loud noise for them to hear me, I had to repeat myself over and over, and over and over before anything was done. I feel like I'm drowning in kiddie land over here. Mom's across the world I am here to say Weekend's can sometime be WAR! I mean this in a good way, don't get me wrong <smile>. But as I am screaming over screams, I look over to see my husband lying on the couch watching ESPN. WTH... OMG I cannot believe he had been sitting there the whole time watching television while I'm being ripped to shred's by the little one's.  I ask my hunny to help me out and his reply to me was............ (all the dots b/c that's how long it took him to even hear me)............ Well what do you need help with (in his slow Andy Griffith tone)? I said "sweetheart just look around you, but don't worry I can handle it!" My sarcasm got me no where, lol so I just continued on with my FIGHT all alone. Mommy's army had no backup this weekend, and I was defeated. Blown to smithereens lol. By 8:00 p.m. I had been completely demolished. Just to look over and see my honey still sitting on the couch, loathing around like a big fat Walrus. Don't you just want to shake them until the light bulb in their head comes on that says HELP OUT, HELP ME, HELP!? Well I do, but hey husbands can only do so much. It's up to us mom's to hold it down, and I must say we do it BEST!
